Product description
The rubber coated mounting magnet has a hole in the central part of its structure, having inside it a thread accompanied by a rubber coating. We manufacture our rubber coated magnet with magnetic discs of neodymium glued to another steel disc, which we cover with a black rubber to avoid scratches.
The rubber also serves to protect the magnets from corrosion and oxidation due to prolonged use, as well as to prevent slippage and possible cracks due to rubbing against other metals.
Applications of Rubber Coated Magnet
The diversity of practical cases for which rubber coated magnets are very useful is in most cases the ability to embed, adjust or hold lights. Silicone coated magnets can be used to improve the performance of certain equipment and mechanisms, to maintain orderly distribution in warehouses, working environments and outdoors.
What’s The Advantage Rubber Coated Magnet
The rubber coated mounting magnet has an incredible capacity to attract with great force any metal that is intended to be fastened in its environment. The structure of the materials we use for its manufacture is water resistant. It can also withstand relatively high temperatures. It has an internal thread that we have called “female” to adapt it to the fasteners or other peripherals that you want to attach.
The rubber coated Neodymium pot magnets are also suitable for fixing signs, plates,temporary lightings and sample parts scratch-free onto highly polished chrome-plated or painted mild steel (ferrous) surfaces,provide a good level of corrosion protection in humid conditions.
Because of their high performance,slide resisting properties and paint work protection ability,these rubber coated Neodymium (NdFeB) pot magnets are sometimes also known as Boutique Magnets.
- Santoprene Rubber coating for scratch-free clamping
- Neodymium Magnets (NdFeB) inside for maximum holding forces
- Extremely good sheer forces – high resistance to sliding
- Protects surfaces such as lacquered mild steel car body work
- Excellent as Sign Magnets and Lighting Magnets, etc; Superior performance Boutique Magnets
- Maximum recommended operating temperature is 80°C
Threaded neck (external male threaded stud) – you could attach a nut to this design style;
Screwed bush (external female threaded bush) – you could attached a bolt to this design style.
Rectangular rubber coated magnet – internal thread
This rectangular rubber coated magnet has an internal thread and offers great magnetic force. The rubber magnet comes in two different models with either one or two threads and is part of our well-known Protego Series. The soft rubber makes the magnet ideal for varnished surfaces.
